Manish Malhotra’s bridal campaign, 2016 can be described as “Opulent” with design narrative inspired by the stunning architecture of Persia, a blooming paradise of fauna and flora. The new collection saw the revival of a lot of old craft. While the embroidery had an old world charm, the silhouettes were modern and global. The stunning Kangana Ranuat featured as the contemporary bride for the campaign, the visuals showcased the grandeur the label is associated with. From hand-woven gold embroidered gowns to velvet jackets worn over cigarette pants, Kangana defined opulence in all the outfits. In Manish’s words, “For me Kangana is talented, beautiful, hard working, confident, speaks her mind and achieved so much, and for me that is my bride”.
